Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer

Location: Umhlanga Rocks

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Graphic Designer to join our social media department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, a knack for storytelling through visuals, and a desire to make an impact in the digital space.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with the social media team to create visually appealing graphics that align with our clients brand identities and messaging.

- Design engaging content for various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.

- Assist in the development of creative campaigns, ensuring all designs are on-brand and meet project timelines.

- Edit and enhance images and videos to create compelling multimedia content.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, social media best practices, and emerging technologies.

- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to improve our social media presence.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

- A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

- A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity, particularly in social media graphics.

- Basic knowledge of animation or video editing software is a plus.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- A passion for design and a desire to learn and grow within the field.
